Horses... The Greatest Inspiration
Peter has won the coveted "Style of Riding Award' at the CHIO Aachen, Germany, the CSI Vienna, Austria; the American Gold Cup, the USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals, the Upperville Horse Show and three-time winner at the Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton, New York. Peter's all-time, greatest horse, the horse that helped him reach Olympic Gold, WEG Bronze and countless victories, is Fein Cara. With this incredible mare, Peter was able to reach the Pinnacle of International Show Jumping.
Currently, Peter is working with a young, talented string of horses in conjunction with an incredible group of owners. Owners who see the value in training and most importantly the process. The process that builds horses into long-term competitors. Peter's top mount right now, Canamerra 2, owned by the Kamine Family, is currently competing at the 3* and 4* levels with appearances at several world cup qualifiers.
Along with developing his young string, Peter also teaches and trains an amazing group of rising amateurs. From his experience in all three disciplines within English riding, Peter can focus on the fundamentals of riding, while allowing his riders to develop their own individual styles.
Finally, Peter works alongside Kelli Cruciotti and Serenity Farm. Establishing their relationship in 2012, Peter and Kelli have worked together and reached some of the highest levels of the sport. Using his incredible, first-hand knowledge, Peter has leveraged his Olympic and International experience to mentor Kelli into one of the top rising athletes within the world of show jumping. The two, and Cindy Cruciotti, have developed horses such as Chamonix H and Hadja Van Orshof into some of the most successful and well-known horses in the world. Peter attributes his success to his team, his family, his owners, and most of all his horses.
